Wedding at the Houstonian Hotel - Stevener Wedding

Oh how we love beautiful Houstonian Hotel weddings! This was our 1st time in the Juniper Ballroom which means we have now captured a wedding in each of the ballrooms. Tonight event was the gorgeous wedding of Courtney and Andrew Stevener or as we have been calling them, Ken & Barbie (I don’t think they knew this though). They are just so cute together, literally they are perfect! We could have put up 100’s of photos from their gorgeous day but we selected a few of the best of the best to share with you all.

They ceremony took place at the Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral.

How did Andrew pop the question: Andrew convinced Courtney that he had a Groupon for Vick & Anthony’s (yeah right). Earlier in the day he had a spare key made asked his mother and sister to come over to Courtney’s while they were out to eat and decorate her apartment. They returned to Courtney’s after dinner where as soon as Andrew started to open the apartment door, she only saw red on the floor and panicked. Courtney tried to back away (too many crime shows) out of fear, but Andrew just shoved her inside. That’s when she realized that the entire apartment was decorated with rose petals, candles, chocolate covered strawberries, and metallic confetti. Andrew gave the most beautiful speech after he got on his knee and of course she said YES!

The reception took place in the Houstonian Hotel’s Juniper Ballroom.

When asked where their favorite place(s) are to eat they told us Maggianos, Vick & Anthony’s, Blue Water, Mi Cocina, Cyclone Anayas. Which happen to be a few of our favorite too!

We asked these two who the hardest vendors was to find and they said: Not photographer 🙂 We struggled with the reception venue honestly, the other people all fell into place pretty smoothly once we chose locations.

We asked these newlyweds what are some Must Haves at their wedding and they told us they absolute must have is bellies, beers and hearts full! We want everyone to have as much fun as we’re having!

When asked who their favorite sports team is they told us: Texans, Rockets, Astros, House Divided with college football between Texas Tech and UT.

We asked what their favorite way to relax was (and although I believe they are completely relaxed in the above adorable photo) they told us to have wine nights! This is my, Samantha, favorite way to relax too!
