San Antonio is known for their landmarks, The Alamo, The Riverwalk, and the new Pearl Brewery, but there is so much more to explore in this amazing city. Your engagement photos should always remind you of where you were in during your engagement. It is supposed to be personal and inspiring. Brackenridge is such a beautiful park. Its a great location for fun engagement photos and want to include a picnic or throw a ball together.
San Antonio Botanical Garden

Cibolo Nature Center

This is the spot if you are looking for open spaces and beautiful San Antonio Engagement Locations. This is a beautiful organic location with fields, streams and beautiful landscapes. (Permit Required)
The River Walk
This is a San Antonio staple but it also comes with a lot of problems for engagement photos. First there are always tons of people around and it requires a lot of walking! So I recommend picking a spot where you can park close and just use it for a few shots then move on to another San Antonio Engagement Location for the rest of your session. I suggest trying out Marriage Island or the Museum Reach area.
The Japanese Tea Garden

The San Antonio Japanese Tea Garden is breathtaking. It is an ideal location for beautiful intimate engagement photos in San Antonio. The gardens are lush and green with lots of beautiful stone architecture and even a gorgeous waterfall. (Permit Required)
The Mission Concepcion

Guadalupe River State Park

Another beautiful San Antonio engagement location at a State Park! The Guadalupe River is a beautiful natural location for romantic engagement photos. You can start with a picnic then end with an evening gown and the sun setting behind a gorgeous river rock bed!
The King William District
This is just a gorgeous area with tons of character. Resting next to the River Walk this neighborhood is the best place to get some scenic San Antonio photos without tons of people around.
Hemisfair Park

This park, nestled underneath the Tower of Americas is a beautiful San Antonio Engagement location for someone wanting a fun and playful engagement session. The park has water features, tree lined pathways, bridges and everything else to make a perfect engagement location.
