Welcome to Day 2 of Dev and Kendyl’s Four Seasons Indian Wedding. We started the morning very bright and early with the girl’s getting ready at the Four Seasons Hotel in Irving, TX. Look how beautiful everything is! If you want to see Day 1 of their wedding please click here: Grashanti & Pithi Ceremony.

We even got to snag a few getting ready photos of our groom Dev in his room at the Four Seasons.

Indian Groom Getting Ready

Dev and Kendyl did a 1st look before they moved into the Baraat. This allowed them to see the ceremony room before everyone came in and we were able to capture beautiful images!

The Baraat

For those new to Southeast Asian or Indian weddings. The Baraat is groom’s wedding procession and it is customary for the bridegroom to travel to the wedding venue on a mare, accompanied by his family members. Every Baraat we have ever captured is such a joyful celebration!

Look how beautiful Prashe Designs made the ceremony room. The flowers are stunning and the Mandap was unbelievable in person.

And for those of you who haven’t attended an Indian or Fusion wedding before. There are many beautiful and very fun traditions incorporated throughout the day such as the one below.

After the Indian wedding ceremony that morning everyone has lunch and a time of rest before the American wedding ceremony and the wedding reception took place. We took advantage of this time to capture a few more of Kendyl’s beautiful details and attire such as her Badgley Mischka studded wedding shoes below.

The Reception

And the Four Season Wedding Reception decor is also gorgeous featuring pinks and golds throughout. Prashe knows how to decorate a party and KI Weddings know how to throw one. Very impressive!

The evening started off with the American wedding ceremony.

And after the ceremony, the wedding reception began. Look at the mother of the bride’s face as she watched her daughter dance with her father. There is no other love, like a mother’s love!

Empire Entertainment’s very own DJ Prashant kept the dance floor rocking throughout the evening.

We always like to step out after dark to capture a few night time photos but when we saw this Hot Stuff sign inside the restaurant at the Four Seasons we couldn’t resist playing with it a bit too.
