We are excited to share with you all our first Fire Station Engagement session. Rey is a fireman at the Montgomery County firehouse so it was only natural for us to head out there to capture a few photos of him and his girl there. Kelsey did a great job working it for the camera as well. They are just so cute together!
Their story (as told my Kelsey)? I got engaged to my fiancé on January 18, 2014. It was the most amazing day of my life. The whole proposal was planned for over a month and everyone knew about it but me. The day of, I was under the impression that my fiancé had a meeting at the Fire House and that I was going to go eat lunch at Wild Ginger, the place that Rey and I met for the first time, with my best friend. I didn’t know this whole amazing day was going to happen. At the end of the meal, we get the check and I open it and it has a note for me in the form of a poem saying that I need to go back to his apartment. So I go back to his apartment and there was another clue saying that I need to put my high boots on and go to a nail salon in town that he already had an appointment made for me. My third clue took me to my favorite clothing store, American Eagle, and he had already picked out a dress and a jean jacket for me to wear. My final clue took me to this place in the Woodlands called Market Street and it told me to follow the music. I didn’t know what was going on and I saw my friend and her husband and I was like “What are you doing here?” Then I realized that our favorite song was playing on the loud speaker “Marry Me” by Bruno Mars and then it hit me. One of Rey’s coworkers wives took pictures of the whole event. After I first saw my friends, they took me over to the other side of the park and all of my friends from my sorority were there. They took me to the middle of the park and my best friends for my whole life and their parents were there. I completely lost it when I saw them because I have known them for over 15 years. Then they took me to the other side of the park where Rey’s family walks out. I couldn’t hold it together. They then took me back to the back of the park and out came my parents. I couldn’t contain myself. They walked me to the stage of the park and Rey came out with a mic and did a great speech and then got on one knee and asked me to marry him. All of the pedestrians started clapping once I said yes and it was just a magical moment. Best day of my life!!!!
